Our hotel is located in the city of Pradet in the Var near Toulon. The surroundings are full of attractions for all fields of interests around Provence such as cultural heritage, sport and gourmet activities, walks for nature lovers, relaxation and rest.

Hiking trails and walks

Our hotel is located close to the departure points of hiking trails and near the Pradet mine (Cap Garonne). A romantic walk or a family stroll on the mountains of the mine will allow you to admire the landscape over the clear blue Mediterranean Sea and a breathtaking panorama from La Londe, the islands of Hyères (Porquerolles and Port Cros), the Giens peninsula, Carqueiranne, to the bay of Toulon.
You can take a boat from the Oursinières harbour just next to the hotel to the islands of Porquerolles and Port Cros, and swim in the turquoise water or hike among the pinewoods or olive groves.

Multiple sport activities

For golf lovers, you will need only 10 minutes by car to get to the Valgarde golf in La Garde. For water sport enthusiasts, a yacht club in the Oursinières harbour will allow you to practice catamaran, windsurfing or Optimist. A scuba diving club is right next to the hotel and will allow scuba-divers to discover extraordinary seafloors of our Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
Within a short car drive you can play tennis at the Pradetan tennis club near our charming hotel. If you want to horseback ride, you can go to the Bouquetière stables at Pradet close to our hotel. If you are a swimmer, you can enjoy our large pool to stay in shape and swim.

A natural rich in diversity environment

From a short car drive is the Giens peninsula which will allow you to discover salines, pink flamingos and its varied wildlife. Along the peninsula is the long beach of Almanarre, a white sandy beach at the edge of Carqueiranne. At the end of the peninsula, there are hiking trails, the Tour Fondue pier to the islands of Porquerolles and Port Cros.
All around of our hotel are coves with turquoise water, pinewoods with Provence fragrances, and picture perfect sceneries.

Close to the tourist sites of Var and Bouches-du-Rhône

The Escapade Hotel is less than an hour from the Cassis’ coves (or “callanques” in French) where you can explore by boat turquoise and crystal clear waters nestled in the heart of unique Provence vegetation.
For the most courageous, the coves can be reached on foot by hiking trails. You can also discover the typical village of Cassis, its fish restaurants,
its Provence craft shops. If you like wine and products from Provence, visit the Bandol vineyards, its castles and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Nearby is also the medieval village of Le Castellet, and for motor sports lovers, the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet.

Airport Access

The Escapade Hotel is 20 minutes from Toulon-Hyères airport, by motorway. It is served by domestic flights from Paris, Brest, Corsica but also international flights from London, Rotterdam or Brussels.
